TALL SHIPS ADVENTURE
BURSARIES AND SCHOLARSHIPS
Providing youth with the opportunity to reach new heights for more than 30 years!
The Captain Thomas and Jeanne Fuller Bursary Fund exists to ensure that youth who would like to set sail are not left ashore for lack of funds. The late Captain Thomas. G. Fuller DSC**, renowned WWII Navy Captain and “Pirate of the Adriatic” designed and built the Fair Jeanne in his backyard, naming the vessel after his beautiful wife. It is by their example that tall ship sailing with Bytown Brigantine Tall Ships Adventure continues to build confidence and self-esteem, inspires leadership and good citizenship while fostering life-long friendships between youth.
BBI bursary applications submitted will be initially reviewed by the office. Please make all your support documents are submitted. If you have questions reach out. In terms of the process, our bursary committee typically will have conversations with with applicants between April-May. If you have any question reach out to: registrar@tallshipsadventure.org.

As founding patron of Tall Ships Adventure, Jeanne Fuller’s generosity has ensured that no youth was left ashore for want of funds for over 40 years.

On Sunday, December 17th, 2017 in the warm glow of the sunset and evening star at The Moorings surrounded by her loving family while overlooking Britannia Bay, Jeanne Fuller crossed the bar reuniting with her beloved husband, Captain T.G. Fuller – together for eternity.

A wonderful life indeed. Her example of unconditional love, kindness, generosity, and sense of the moment will be commended to our hearts and enrich our lives for all the rest of our days.
