Volunteer Work Parties
Work Plan
The Winter Program is ramping up and there is more than likely going to be work enough for everyone. Please call the office at 613-956-6258 and see how you can help out.
We have a few events coming up where we need your help!
Mall Displays
On Saturday May 29th , we will be at Place d'Orléans, at the community booth. We need volunteers to help both days. We have to set up the booths before the mall opens and take them down after they close. A person must be manning the booth at all times so we would love your help on either day!

Saturday May 22nd - Kingston
Coming up on Saturday May 22, Bytown Brigantine will be having a display at Fort Henry in Kingston . We need volunteers to take our booth and display it on that day as well as talk to the general public that are interested in our program. Set up is between 9-10am and move out will be after 5. We will need a few people to man the booth so that we can hand out flyers to everyone that comes by.
If you are interested in helping out at Fort Henry, please let Mary know. All gas money will be reimbursed.
Island Clean Up
The May 21st to 23rd weekend will be our Island Clean Up Weekend! We hope you can join us. We are heading up to the island on the 12th to make sure that it is still there and we will check to water levels at the island to see if we canl bring the barges up or if it will just be the Navy whalers and the Boston whaler, regardless we would like everyone who can join us to meet at the Quyon dock at 1830hrs.
We will take care of the food for the weekend, just bring a warm sleeping bag and your work clothes and that should be it.
If you can join us please let me know. There will be something for everyone, we will be clearing brush, setting up tents, a general tidy up and we would even like to try a small garden!
We will let you know the pick up information closer to the date as we are trying to assess water levels at this point.

What
kind of party?
First off, in nautical circles "parties" usually mean
work as in "shore party" or "boarding party." So, a
"work party" is not a party with people from work,
but a group of volunteers gathered to do some
work.
Please note: you

BBI programs. If you do not have a BBI ID card fill
