Thomas G. Fuller
Bursary Program for Youth
During his remarkable
life, Capt. Fuller gave generously and anonymously to many local charities, most
supporting children.
Named in his honour, the Captain Thomas G.
Fuller Bursary Fund has been established to continue this good work. The
Bursary fund allows young socially and economically challenged persons to
experience the rewarding adventure and challenges of Tall Ship sailing.
Each year, a minimum of 1/5 of the berths
are reserved for those candidates in need of financial assistance to enter
the program. Fees collected from registrants in Bytown Brigantine's sailing
programs are directed towards food and instruction ONLY!
Bursary funds are received through donations,
fundraising events, and Bytown Membership sales (completely optional).
Tax receipts are issued for all donations and memberships. Would you like to help?

If
you want to participate in our summer youth programs but are worried about money, phone the office at (613) 596-6258 and
ask about the Thomas G. Fuller Bursary for Youth. It helps pay for some or all of the cost of attending a program based
on your family’s situation. Get the details and participate in the experience of a lifetime.
